Easier Access & Verification with QR Codes

Chelsea avatar
Shared by Chelsea • September 01, 2025

We’ve upgraded how your notes (prescriptions, lab requests, and medical certificates) work to make them safer and easier to use.

What this means for you:

Every note is now verifiable with a unique Security Code.

📱 QR codes are smarter: patients can view, save, and rebook from the same page.

🛡️ Employers can easily validate medical certificates.

⚙️ Using a custom footer? You’ll see the Security Code by default but you can also have the QR code inserted. Just message our Support Team and we’ll help set it up.

👉 Works on web-generated notes, system notes, and with the system footer enabled.

Tips to Manage Your Clinic Schedule with Ease

Chelsea avatar
Shared by Chelsea • August 27, 2025

Running a clinic can get unpredictable, but SeriousMD gives you the tools to adapt quickly. Here are a few real-life scenarios and how you can handle them with ease:

1. Emergency – Need to Cancel Clinic While Patients Are Already Queued

If something urgent comes up and you can’t proceed with your clinic:

  • Create a No Clinic Announcement directly from your Queue.
  • Mark queued patient consults as Cancelled.
  • (Optional) Reschedule patients to a new date to keep things organized.

2. Patient Can’t Make It In-Person, Requests an Online Consult Instead

No problem! You can still switch to virtual while running your clinic.

  • Just Edit the consultation and select Virtual Consult.
  • This gives you (and your staff) a clear indicator that the consult is online.

3. Need to Leave Early & Stop Accepting New Bookings

If you have to cut your day short:

  • Go to Queue > Update Booking Availability.

  • Toggle OFF the clinics you won’t be accepting bookings for today.

  • Save, and your booking links will instantly reflect your updated availability.

✨ With these simple steps, you stay in control—no matter what comes up during the day.

How to update my clinic fees?

Reinna avatar
Shared by Reinna • July 08, 2025

We’ve come across a few instances where the consultation fee was updated, but the new rates didn’t show up on their booking profile right away. 💭

In most cases, this was simply because the update was made in the Catalog section instead of the Clinics tab.

A quick adjustment in the right section usually resolves it right away!

✅ Update Your Clinic Fees (for NowServing bookings)

1. Go to the Clinics tab
2. Locate the clinic you wish to update, then click Edit
3. Under How much will patients pay, enter the new fee.
4. Click Update, then Save

This ensures your consultation fees display correctly to patients booking through NowServing. Kindly wait for a couple of hours before it reflects on your profile. 👍

✅ Update Your Service Prices (Catalog/Billing)

If you charge different rates for specific services (e.g., consultations, procedures), you’ll need to update those separately in your catalog.

💡Keep in mind that updates here won’t affect your NowServing profile, they only apply when you manually bill a patient or when they view prices in your Catalog.
  1. Go to the Billing tab, then select Catalog
  2. Click on the service you want to update
  3. Click Edit, enter the new price, then Save
