We're excited to announce the addition of Body Surface Area (BSA) as a new vital sign you can now track for your patients!
This feature is available on both our web platform and the SeriousMD iOS app, providing you with more comprehensive patient data.
Step 1: Open any patient record in either the SeriousMD web platform or the iOS app.
Step 2: Navigate to the Vitals tab.
Step 3: Click on the '+' (plus) icon to add a new vital entry.
Step 4: Next, click the (...) icon located at the top right, then select 'Edit Default Vitals'.
Step 5: Scroll down until you see the 'Other Vital Types' section.
Step 6: Under 'Other Vital Types', you will find 'BSA'. Toggle it on to add it to your list of active vitals.
Important Note: Please be aware that adding BSA to your vitals list will not retroactively calculate or display BSA for previous vital entries.
This feature will only apply to new vital entries moving forward, allowing you to accurately record and monitor BSA from the point it's enabled.
For iOS users: Make sure your iOS device is updated to version 2.3.328! You can check by going to Settings > About
