Starting Residency or Training? Here’s How to Temporarily Deactivate Your SeriousMD Account

If you're about to start your training or residency and won't be available for consultations, you can temporarily deactivate your SeriousMD account.

How to temporarily deactivate your account

Option 1: Disable Your Clinic Availability

1. Go to the Clinics tab.
2. Click on Edit.
3. Scroll down to Display clinic on your NowServing Profile and select No, just inside SeriousMD.

* Make sure to apply this setting to all your clinics

Option 2: Request Temporary Deactivation of Account

1. Click on Help
2. Select Talk to Us and send a request to the support team to temporarily deactivate your account.

What happens after deactivation?

Prevents patients from booking appointments with you
Helps prevent auto-canceled booking due to unavailability or inactivity

Easily resume accepting patients whenever you're ready (no need to set everything up again!). Simply reach out to our support team, and we'll quickly reactivate your account for you. 👍
