A patient books an appointment for two days from now, and you accept it. The appointment is queued for that future date, but after chatting with the patient, you realize you're available to consult right now.
For future situations like this, you can actually just move the booking from the future date to today. That way, you can avoid going through the whole refund process since they technically paid for an appointment and you're simply rescheduling.
In your queue, go to the future date. Click the (...) icon then Move Appointment
Choose a different date to update the appointment details then Save
This feature is also handy for other scenarios, like when a virtual appointment needs to be changed to an in-person consultation at your clinic. Just move the appointment to the clinic and update the date.
If you charge differently for in-person consultations, you can easily collect the remaining balance from the patient, as they’ve already paid through the platform.
