      Running a clinic can get unpredictable, but SeriousMD gives you the tools to adapt quickly. Here are a few real-life scenarios and how you can handle them with ease:
1. Emergency – Need to Cancel Clinic While Patients Are Already Queued
If something urgent comes up and you can’t proceed with your clinic:
- Create a No Clinic Announcement directly from your Queue.
 
- Mark queued patient consults as Cancelled.
 
- (Optional) Reschedule patients to a new date to keep things organized.
 
2. Patient Can’t Make It In-Person, Requests an Online Consult Instead
No problem! You can still switch to virtual while running your clinic.
- Just Edit the consultation and select Virtual Consult.
 
- This gives you (and your staff) a clear indicator that the consult is online.
 
3. Need to Leave Early & Stop Accepting New Bookings
If you have to cut your day short:
- Go to Queue > Update Booking Availability.
 
- Toggle OFF the clinics you won’t be accepting bookings for today.
 
- Save, and your booking links will instantly reflect your updated availability.
